What is the most exciting part of your job?
The same things that sometimes challenge me! I thrive on problem-solving, so when I overcome obstacles or help my team succeed in tough situations, I feel accomplished and rewarded.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
Still here at Tara SOUTS, going strong, with our community thriving and my children growing into resilient, wonderful adults with families of their own.
What's something you're proud of?
My supportive family. Balancing one established business while building a new one, my children remain my greatest motivation in everything I do.

What motivates you at work?
I’m motivated by the big responsibility I have to make sure everyone gets their pays on time and to make sure everything is getting billed out correctly so that the company stays successful and running well. It’s something I care very much about.
What is the most exciting part of your job?
I enjoy being able to get everything really organised so everything runs smoothly, I love learning new things and using my skills to benefit the company.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
In 10 years I would like to be growing and developing always in my career and always learning new skills and information and I would like to have finished the main big bits of my home renovation and be working hard on paying my mortgage off so that I can retire comfortably one day.
What's something you're proud of?
I’m proud of learning my job fast and well and having a big part in a company that provides essential services to the community and does a lot of good work for people.
Who inspires you?
My family inspires me, everyone in their own way. Even though we have all been through hard things in our lives, I’m inspired by the way all my family members, including my extended family have picked themselves up and work hard to get through things and make their life better, for both themselves and the rest of their family.

What motivates you at work?
Being part of a team that supports the community, and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives. Seeing the positive outcome, whether it's problem solving, or contributing to someone's growth or success, this gives me a strong sense of purpose.
What is the most exciting part of your job?
No 2 days are the same, there is always a challenge to overcome. It's incredibly rewarding to support individuals with their ideas and watching them achieve their goals. Every participant interaction is a unique opportunity to make a positive impact, and that keeps my work dynamic and fulfilling.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
Still at SOUTS, watching it grow into something amazing for out community. I would also like to travel around our beautiful country.
What's something you're proud of?
My family and everything we have accomplished and the dreams that we have.
Who inspires you?
My family, particularly my Nan who has seen some many changes in her lifetime, she is the strongest person I know. She has taught me the importance of being there for others and a strong work ethic.

Being part of a team that works together to support each other and people within our community.
What is the most exciting part of your job?
Everyday is different, it is not like every other job. On a day to day basis we overcome so many obstacles, but we always manage to stay a team and give the best support to our participants.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
Hopefully still a Support Coordinator for SOUTS.
What's something you're proud of?
I am proud how far SOUTS has come as a company and how far I have come in my role. I am confident in my role and I wouldn't have that without the support of my colleagues.
Who inspires you?
My family and my daughter particularly, she has taught me to live life to the fullest and never take anything for granted. She inspires me to build a future for us as a family.

I'm incredibly proud of my wife and the valuable professional service she provides to the small town of Tara.
Who inspires you?
I'm inspired by people I know who have made bold career changes to entirely new fields. Their bravery has enriched their own lives and positively impacted others and the community.

A genuine love for helping others live their best lives, no matter their situation.
What is the most exciting part of your job?
The most exciting moments are when clients greet me with a smile, and at the end of the shift, thank me or give me a hug for brightening their day.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
Hopefully retired, spending time in my garden and cherishing moments with family.
What's something you're proud of?
I'm incredibly proud of my four children, who have grown into kind and thoughtful individuals.
Who inspires you?
My mum, who taught me selflessness and the importance of being there for others. Even after eight years with severe dementia, she still cares deeply about the people around her.

I’m proud of obtaining my First Aid and CPR certificates, which have equipped me to help others in critical situations.
Who inspires you?
My grandmother inspires me—she brought two teenage boys from England to Australia on her own and started a new life for them in a tin shack in Inala. Her resilience and strength continue to motivate me.
